Your Job Search Strategy

What is your job search strategy?

The most common strategy is to look according to your job title. You trained to be a Avionics Engineer, a Cosmetic Mascara Sales Representative, or an Auto Polisher. Guess your pickings are slim.

Most people search for the job they want, but recruiters are looking for people with skills.

What SKILLS do you have?

Your math skills in Avionics could land you a teaching job.
Your sales skills could land you a job... well, just about anywhere!
Your auto skills could get you a job for your brawn or your attention to detail.

Using http://Hired911.com you can search according to your SKILLS for your next great job.
Give it a shot!

If you have skills that earned you a degree - see if there are employers looking for someone with your degree title! Maybe it's not a Ivy League school that will land the job but your Executive Secretarial degree.

If the employer is listing it, you can find it!

Change your Search Strategy and change your results.

Happy Searching!

I am encouraged...

When starting Hired911.com my thought was to serve you by creating a portal that saved you time in finding your next American job. As the federal government is downsizing, the private sector has stepped up. I was encouraged to see a "Virtual Job Fair" for people looking for jobs!

If you're not familiar, virtual means that you don't have to drive to another state to participate in the job fair, but instead do it from your computer at home, in a coffee shop, or at the library! That is how Hired911.com was designed - with YOU in mind with the ability to job hunt and submit job requests from anywhere!

So, when I saw this Virtual Job Fair I thought that it might be an excellent opportunity for you to showcase yourself. Anyone who has read this blog will have access to the link: http://www.americahires360.com/ where all the services to job-seekers is FREE.

I wish you all the best and hope you find your dream job soon!

I found this particularly interesting. If you do your own taxes, there is a provision for job-seekers to deduct the expense of looking for a job from your taxes. This is particularly good in these times when gas prices are hitting $4.00/gal in many areas of the country. Why should everything have to hit your wallet?

So, you can deduct your job search expenses. Make sure that you keep accurate records, like mileage driven, stamp receipts, etc. to get every deduction possible.

But... did you know that if you were EMPLOYED and LOOKING for a new job, you could also deduct job-seeker expenses? This is a copy and post to help you in the future from http://Hired911.com to help you.

Looking for a new job not only takes time, it also can cut into your bank account. A sheet of stamps, $8.80. Quality paper for your printer, $9. Printer ink, $16. And mileage to your job interviews. Miniscule expenses can add up over time. Fortunately, the IRS allows some job-search expenses as deductions on your income tax statement -- even when you're job hunting while still employed. If you don't land a new job, you can still declare these expenses. However, you can not deduct job-search expenses if you are a new graduate looking for a first job. Read more.

Going Green

After watching the White House launch of Startup America, I realized what a vital service http://Hired911.com does for the Green community. Green is the obvious keyword for everything that saves energy, and this consolidation of many job sites into a single portal saves you time and energy. It also lets you turn off your computer sooner after you have applied for the job of your dreams on every given day.

I find it exciting to be part of the Green community where with every new http://Hired911.com user we are saving more and more money. At 12 cents per kilowatt hours x 1 hour per day x 100,000 households that can use http://Hired911.com daily = $12,000 in energy per day saved! In a year nearly $4.4 million in savings - just because you worked more efficiently. Of course your personal savings of .12 cents per day adds up to $43.80 saved annually.

So take a step to help America go Green with http://Hired911.com for all your job needs.

More Jobs for American Workers

January 24, 2011

According to an NABE Industry Survey you can expect to see more jobs coming around soon. The hiring is spurred by increased demand, increased profit margins, and increased capital spending. This could mean very good news for job seekers. Even today in Flint, MI the GM corporation announced 600 jobs to be added to staff up a third shift operation.

Sharpen up your resumes now and start targeting your new job position. Make sure your resume meets or exceeds the expectations of the recruiter and the employer. Hopefully your next interview will be the answer you and your family have waited for.

Hired 911.com - Christmas hope for the future.

This week the new government statistic states that:

Initial jobless claims fall 3,000 to 420,000
